This started occurring today on my desktop, but not on my laptop, which 
heretofore I thought to be identically configured (Ubuntu Dapper).  In 
any case, I was able to track this down and silence the error -- the 
test intentionally creates for an error condition, which get logged, I 
just need to make sure that the log level is set appropriately high to 
avoid the message.

Hopefully, if you pull the latest, this one will go away.
