Categories not showing up

Hi,

http://planete.websemantique.org/ is still a plain vanilla installation
and, even though it uses a template that includes:

<TMPL_IF category> under <TMPL_VAR category></TMPL_IF>

the categories do not show up in the entries that include <category/>
elements.

What should I do so that categories show up?
